Hey Fellow Bloggers & Readers -

As many of you know, the Oscars were announced this past weekend and in the film world the Oscars are equivalent to the Super Bowl. As many of you know, I am a film minor. And while I love watching them, I am not one of those die hard, go all out, crazy type people. My friends, however, are those people. They create their ballots and ballot each other in the hopes of getting the most guesses right! My friend Jessica had planned for a while to come over to my house to watch them because she does not have basic cable. With her birthday coming up in a few weeks, I decided to also make it a surprise birthday party and really have a good time with it!

Jessica was so surprised when she got to my apartment. She knew that I knew how much the Oscars really meant to her. When watching the Oscars, Jessica announced every winner for her snapchat followers just in case they weren't watching! Her snapchat story was over 5 minutes long! It was ridiculous, but so funny to watch at the same time!

Lady Gaga's "Sound of Music" tribute was literally the most amazing thing! I mean..who knew she could look so...normal!? It was such a good look for her that I totally think it will in a way help revive her career and bring her back to life! Jessica and I agree that Birdman definitely deserved the Oscar for Best Picture!
